Overview
With Windows Live Mail, all your e-mail accounts are in one program – Hotmail, Yahoo!*, Gmail, and more. Plus, you share a single contact list with Windows Live, so you can use Mail to see when Messenger contacts are online.

Offline Access
Say you’re offline, but you need to check the address on a party invite you got the other day. No problem. Older messages and calendar events are always accessible on your PC, even when you’re offline. You can compose a reply, and then sync and send messages the next time you reconnect.

Security
Use Windows Live Mail to help maximize your e-mail security across multiple e-mail accounts. Spam filters help you keep out the junk and tell you when a message looks suspicious. And when you need to, you can delete a message and block the sender, all in one click.

Events Reminder
Your calendar in Windows Live Mail helps you keep track of all the important stuff you’ve got coming up. It even sends you reminders—in e-mail, on your mobile device*, or in Messenger—you decide.

Sync with Web Calendar
You can add new events to your calendar in Windows Live Mail, even when you’re offline. As soon as you go online again, your calendars automatically sync, and you’ll see any new info you added to your web calendar in Hotmail.

Shared Calendars
Your time isn’t always your own – there are family members and teammates to think about. Set up and share Windows Live calendars on the web, and you can view and edit them all in Windows Live Mail – even calendars that others have shared with you
